On Monday, October 13, the national celebration of Emergency Medical Services Day began with a Mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Olsztyn.
The event was organized by the Olsztyn Regional Ambulance Station.
The Day of Emergency Medical Services has been celebrated since 2006 and is an opportunity to thank those who bring help to anyone who needs it. This year’s celebration was attended by a representative of the Minister of Health – Undersecretary of State – Mr. Cezary Rzemek, as well as government and local authorities, representatives of the medical community and guests from all over the country. During the gala, held at the Philharmonic Hall of Warmia and Mazury, the awards included Medals for Long Service, Distinguished Service to Health Care, the Minister of Health’s Blessed Gerard Award.
