Participants in the Eighth Peace March of the Honorary Blood Donors of the Polish Red Cross, gathered in a special place on the site of the former extermination camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau- with their presence wanted to testify to the love of peace, pay tribute to the victims of World War II murdered in a bestial way.
AN APPEAL FOR WORLD PEACE:
Participants in the 8th Peace March appeal to the Nations of the World and their Leaders to:
They sought to resolve conflicts peacefully, in conflict situations they asked Negotiators not Generals for help,
They recognized Peace as the highest Law and Good of modern Man and created conditions for him to live and develop peacefully on Earth,
They used science for the good of Man, and did not make His enemies out of its gains; they gave up using it to do violence and spread destruction,
They respected the environment and cared for its sustainability, ensuring access to nature’s goods for future generations,
The cream that was shed in senseless and unjust wars was earmarked for saving people’s health and lives.
