AKATEX once again participated in the Winter Symposium on Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care in Karpacz from 2-6. 2010. The organizer was the Polish Society of Emergency Medicine under the direction of Prof. Dr. Juliusz Jakubaszko.
As every year, PTMR prepared an attractive social program. Important satellite events were : the Second Review of Amateur Rescue Films “EMERGO Image 2010” and the workshop “Basics of photographic and film documentation in pro-health media promotions”. Of special note was the “Rescue Trophy Extreme 2010” organized for the third time – as a prologue to the Symposium. This rally was a test of the ability and skills to perform medical rescue operations in extremely difficult access conditions on snow-covered mountain trails. Participants in these events, regardless of professional satisfaction, received high educational points.
